The EIT Water Skills Booster is an EIT Water initiative funded by the Grundfos Foundation.

The programme connects students, companies and industry experts with the aim of developing new skills, strengthening entrepreneurship and engaging the next generation in innovation within the water sector.

The EIT Water Skills Booster 2026 is an online programme designed for Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD students who want to strengthen their skills in innovation, entrepreneurship and pitching while working with a real challenge from the water sector.

The programme gives students the opportunity to turn their ideas into innovative solutions while gaining insights and feedback from companies and industry experts. Participants can join individually or as a group, and no previous experience within the water sector is required.

From September to November 2026, participants will take part in three online sessions designed to guide them from challenge to their final pitch at Water Innovators Day on 19. November.

Throughout the programme, participants will develop their innovation, entrepreneurship and pitching skills while expanding their professional network and gaining direct exposure to the water sector.

Who can participate in the program?

The EIT Water Skills Booster is open to Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD students from higher education institutions.

Students can participate individually or as a group, and the online format makes it possible to take part alongside their studies.
