Data-Driven Solutions for Waterworks

Call out to all waterworks, SMEs, and startups that want to develop solutions for future drinking water production.

We invite you to a workshop on the needs of waterworks for digital solutions that will strengthen them on the path to sustainable operations and fewer violations. Here, specific needs and desires from waterworks for the development of measuring equipment and software products that support water quality, energy optimization, resource savings, secure supply, and challenges in designing new waterworks will be presented. The focus is on sensors/solutions that do not currently exist or might be too costly. The event is part of the Merkur Live project, supported by MUDP. The workshop will kickstart a Merkur LIVE ecosystem where companies will receive guidance on product development and/or development of services targeted at drinking water production in close collaboration with waterworks. The Merkur Live project is based on existing data from the 80 Danish waterworks in the "Merkur" database, which can be used in the development of solutions for use in Danish waterworks and export markets. An open, web-based platform is being developed in collaboration with waterworks and their industry organizations. To support export potential access to data collected from European waterworks are also a part of the project.
