Danish engagement in the EU EIT Water KIC call

Water Valley Denmark, DI Water and Aarhus University invite to an online meeting with the opportunity to be introduced to the forthcoming EU EIT Water KIC call to strengthen international innovation collaboration, and discuss the engagement of companies, utilities, and knowledge institutions in applicant consortiums. The scope of the call is expected to be ‘Water, Marine and Maritime Sectors and Ecosystems’. The Call is expected to open in Q1 2025 with deadline 6 months later. The winning consortium will launch its activities in January 2026 with decreasing EU funding for 15 years.  Speakers include:  Head of Division Niels Gøtke, Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation MEP Pernille Weiss, ePP Group in the European Parliament       Professor Lars Ditlev Mørck Ottosen, Aarhus University CEO Ulla Sparre, Water Valley Denmark Head of DI Danish Water Industries Mads Helleberg Dorff, DI (TBC) Head of Technology Innovation, Henrik Ørskov Pedersen, Grundfos      Following the presentations the discussion will be open for other companies, utilities and knowledge institutions to give their input on their engagement in the EU EIT Water KIC and the water challenges which could be dealt with in a EU EIT Water KIC.
